CONtura Pro is a modern, trimless, flush-to-wall door system that brings the door leaf perfectly level with the wall, so the transition is nearly invisible and the space feels larger and calmer. It’s made to order to your specs—think sizes, handing/swing, and hardware prep—and you can choose paint-ready or prefinished door options for a factory-smooth finish. Measurement Guide

Measure rough opening height from finished floor (FFL) at multiple points

1) Measure the Rough Opening Height

Measure from the top of the finished floor (FFL) in the rough opening at least three times (left, center, right). Record the smallest value. If floor coverings aren’t installed yet, deduct their planned thickness first.

2) Measure the Rough Opening Width

Measure the RO width at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest value. These smallest height/width values are your working RO.

3) Measure Wall Thickness

Measure wall thickness at several locations and use the smallest value. From ≥ 3 15/16" wall thickness, SlimFrame can be used for drywall (stud) and masonry. Thicker walls can be adjusted on site for a flush, stable installation.

4) Frame Outside Dimensions

A) Frame outside width = smallest RO width − 1/8" (clearance)

B) Frame outside height = smallest RO height − 3/8" (clearance)

Calculate door slab size from smallest measured values

5) Door Slab Size (Finished Leaf)

A) Door slab width = smallest measured width − 3 3/8"

B) Door slab height = smallest measured height − 2 1/4"

Compute clear opening (passage) dimensions

6) Clear Opening (Finished Passage)

A) Clear opening width = smallest measured width − 4 1/16"

CONtura Pro flush-with-the-wall door system

Thoughtful Engineering

CONtura Pro is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a flush, wall-aligned interior door. It’s made from an extruded, then primed aluminum profile. By default, the side-visible jamb profiles (visible when the door is open) are powder-coated in RAL 9016. On site, you can paint the primed profiles in any color you like.

Built for Almost Any Installation

The jamb is designed for door leaves 1-9/16" thick. CONtura Pro works with walls framed in 2-5/8" studs and common drywall builds — single 1/2", double 1/2", or single 5/8". The frame can be adjusted on site for your chosen build-up, and all required milling is pre-manufactured to save jobsite time.

Premium Jamb Profiles

Innovative plug-in connections speed up installation. The primed, high-quality visible surface is an ideal base for a wide range of paints and provides excellent mechanical adhesion for polymer-modified joint compound. The assembly works beautifully for crack-free plastering in masonry or fast taping and mudding in drywall.

Magnetic Latch with Magnetic Strike

Our magnetic latch is sleek and highly functional, delivering exceptional closing comfort. When the door is open, the latch sits flush with the lock case; on closing, magnets draw it into the frame. This prevents the latch from striking the profile, resulting in a quiet, smooth close. It’s stylish, durable, and great for both commercial and residential use.

Concealed Hinges

Concealed hinges are included. With the door closed they’re completely hidden, and even when open they’re far less noticeable than traditional surface-mounted hinges. Doors up to 88-5/8" tall include two hinges; taller doors include three.

Alignment Blocks for Easier Install

Every frame set includes OSB spacer blocks to streamline precise positioning. The milled blocks fit the profile exactly to keep the jamb parallel during installation.

	5. Production & shipping Once any technical questions are resolved and payment is confirmed, your order enters production. Our flush frames are typically in stock. Door slabs are made to your specifications and take a bit longer before they ship.
	6. Delivery We typically ship in two stages via freight carrier (curbside delivery). Frames usually ship within 3–24weeks of your order. Custom door slabs and remaining accessories follow in about 6–10 weeks. This lets your contractor install frames during rough-in and hang the finished slabs later.
	7. Inspect your shipment The freight carrier will call 24–48 hours before delivery to schedule a delivery window. Please inspect cartons and products at delivery. If you see any visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt with the driver and contact us right away so we can assist.
	8. Store before installation If there’s a gap between delivery and install, store products in a dry, conditioned space, flat on a level surface. Wood doors can expand or warp if exposed to moisture—proper storage keeps everything straight and installation-ready.

I ordered a primed door. How do I finish it?

Primed doors are made to be painted with standard interior paint or enamel. You can also cover them with wallpaper. In this case, please make sure both sides of the door are covered at the same time to avoid warping.
